I play the game with my friend. We just create ourselves and play in the season though, we dont play online at all. The series has really gone downhill though. It's still fun but they need to get rid of the stupid preset animations. The game is a nightmare when it comes to getting the players to do what you want them to.

Yeah I understand what you mean. The only basketball game that was close to the real thing was Nba2k & Nba2k1. After 2k1, it all went downhill. I still play those games with my old dreamcast and ps2...haha

But eventhough, 2k8 is alright. The online play is really competitive. But i hate how every person I play is either the Celtics/Lakers/Mavs/Spurs/Rockets...I think im the only guy that plays with the clippers/grizzlies/& hawks..haha. It's better than the other garbage basketball video games that are out. Like NBA LIVE for example, that game makes Adenoyle Foyle score 80points with ease.
