| For now these are allegations and not proven. But I think these promoters in general are pretty evil- they try to "buy" their way into these potential high draft picks in the hope that they will represent them in some way once the players become pros. And then if the players choose not to go with them as agents/marketing reps then they stab the players in the back by telling the world that they gave the players money in violation of NCAA rules. There should be some sort of law made to prevent this exploitation- it's akin to blackmail. |

| To me, it's not the worst thing in the world. It's not like OJ was selling drugs or something. Hopefully it will make him drop a spot or two so the Clips will have the opportunity to draft him if they want to. Unfortunately it might end up hurting the USC program more than OJ. They always punish the school for what promoters and coaches do, which ultimately ends up hurting the wrong people. |

| I may end up being wrong on this one, but I really do not think Mayo will be a star in the NBA, therefore, I hope the Clippers do not take him! |

| And David, I agree with you 100%. All it takes is one of those promoters/agents to get one huge name, and they are set. That being said, do not take money guys, you are gonna get plenty in a few years!! |

| Hopefully, Mayo will drop on the draft board because of this, giving us a better chance to snag him! What OJ did was not uncommon and there have been many successful NBA players who have done the same thing. I'm not worried about him and think he will be a very solid pro. |
