According to Mitch Lawrence of the New York Daily News, the Clippers are interested in the Sixer's guard Allen Iverson:
"The Clippers will be first on line to try to deal for Allen Iverson around the draft. L.A.'s other team always has had a thing for Iverson, who likely will be shipped out if the Sixers decide to do the right thing and finally rebuild."

Hmmmm- I dunno about this either- not sure if it's a good idea. The guy gets injured a lot and seems to talk too much for his own good. I think the Clippers are trying to keep up their good, clean image and adding Iverson will not help that.

Ei...You don't like Kobe...you don't like Allen...What happens? What do you like? We are one of the worst teams in the West conference and perhaps the worst and you don't want All Star players...I don't understand...Perhaps you only want be one of the worst teams forever...If Kobe comes:perfect...if Allens comes:perfect... What players do you expect to come to the Clippers?Polinice? Rice?Drobniak? or you prefer Kobes,Allens...another great player could be Ray Allen or ¿you don't like this one either? I repeat: Q is playing well but when he resignes his contract let me see if he will play so good...I doubt...This season is being dissapointing...always da same...'the big 3' great numbers and the rest of the team nothing

The simple fact of the matter is that the Clippers don't need Iverson. The Clippers already have all the small forward/shooting guard firepower from Q and Maggette. It's like giving Yao Ming to the Lakers - they already have Shaq. As for Ray Allen and Kobe, that wouldn't be as bad (I never really liked Iverson's attitude), but still, what the Clippers need is another dependable, big man to go with Brand deep in the post.

Hey but I'll take Garnett! ;-) Actually if I had to chose between Kobe and Iverson- Kobe would be my choice. If the Clippers can sign Nash and Dampier that'd really make them something, especially if they can also resign Q. Doesn't look like the Clippers will want to spend that much money and get hit w/ the luxury tax, however....

Marko in my opinion isn't the playmaker that we need and Dooling either. So I think that for this summer Elgin Baylor must do his homework getting a PG and a center(Dampier)

Marko is pretty solid and definitely a terrific defender. I think he'd still do well if he came of off the bench. The team could use some more scoring from that position, as well as more production from the center position.

Yeah, what the Clippers need to do is beef up their center position. Problem is, there aren't many good, free centers in the NBA anymore.

Two names: Dampier, Camby...One of them would be perfect...I'm sure that Elgin will get the best for the Clippers...I think that he has always done the best for us
