Gary Payton wants to be a clipper
rumors are gary payton wants to play for clippers he doesn't want to move his family out of LA the only thing is do the clippers want topay 5.4 million on his contract. I beleive they should.

*Urg* What's wrong with the Clippers!? They let go of Q and now they're signing second-rate players. 4 within the past two weeks. This is not the way to build a playoff team. What they need right now is 1 All-star player for their starting lineup, not washouts like Gary Payton.

i beleive gary would give them that extra motive to win last year this is what they showed a lack of. He will get these kids moving and teach the young guards how to run the point.

Well if the Clippers didn't draft Livingston then trying to get Payton would be a good move. But for now I rather see how Livingston develops. And of course there's always the possibility of Payton clashing with the coach, etc, so that'd be pretty unpleasant. As for team USA- I have to say it's not surprising what has happened considering they are not the best players from the U.S. and they've not had much time playing with one another. But they still have a chance to win the gold....
