A. "I'm not going to get into who is responsible. But there are a lot of things that we're not doing. We don't defend well. We don't rebound well. We don't pass the ball well. We haven't played the pick-and-roll well. We just have not done a good job defensively. We don't push the ball. We don't do a good job at blocking out. It's the basic things. It's no secret. That's been going on all season.''
Q. What are the most pressing needs for improving the team?
A. "To correct the things that I have already mentioned. To play better defense. Move better without the basketball. Block out. Just simple things. We do a lot of standing around on offense. With teams that move the basketball, we have a problem. And I've talked to the coaches about it. These things can be corrected, but the players have to go out and give 100 percent.''
