    Clipper News
In the May 20 NBA Draft lottery, the Clippers have a 29 out of 1000 chance of getting the #1 pick. Will the Clips trade up to get Tyson Chandler? We'll see if Elgin can pull off another draft day miracle.

Clips fall to Jazz, 97-92 in season finale

Posted by: david on Tuesday, April 17, 2001 - 10:45 PM
    Clipper News
The Clippers went down to the stretch with the playoff-bound Jazz, but couldn't pull it out after Odom fouled with with about 5 minutes remaining. McInnis had another nice game with 20 points while Lamar had 19 points and 7 boards. Now the focus will be on the NBA Draft in June. The draft lottery will be determined in the next couple weeks- hopefully the Clips get lucky!

    Clips demolish the Suns, 100-80

    Clipper News
Playing with great team work, shooting, and defense, the Clippers took out the Suns early. The Clips led by as many as 30 at one point. Truly an amazing game- surely the most fun Clipper game of the year- the crowd even did the wave! McInnis (20 pts, 13 assists) and Odom (18, 12, 9) were AWESOME. Everyone was ecstatic to see Zendon play and score his first NBA basket! Watch out Utah :-).

Clippers put Maggette on the IL, activate Zendon

Posted by: david on Monday, April 16, 2001 - 06:13 PM
    Clipper News
The Clips today placed Corey Maggette on the injured list. Corey suffered a groin injury in the win against Golden State. So that will be the end of the season for Corey, who has been extremely valuable for the Clips in close games down the stretch. Zendon Hamilton was activated and who knows it'd be cool to see him in action. Remember he did very well in the pre-season.

Congrats to Ralph for achieving that feat as the voice of the Clippers. I personally think Ralph does an awesome job with his great play-calling, sense of humor, and cool catch-phrases. Here's a 'bingo' for ya Ralph!

Clippers take care of business and get 30th win

Posted by: david on Saturday, April 14, 2001 - 10:17 PM
    Clipper News
The Clips double their last season's win total with their 30th by defeating the Warriors, 106-94. McInnis with 22, Odom 19, Maggette 17, and Miles had a double-double with 13 points and 11 boards. How many wins would the Clippers have right now if they played liked this since the beginning of the season??? 45, 46, 47? Wow!
