I was there. It was early December in '05. The Clippers were holding a throwback 70's night against the Miami Heat. The players wore their Buffalo Braves orange jerseys. Every time a Clipper scored a bucket, there would be a snippet of some seventies song, depending on which player it was. I remember it was "Tears of a Clown" for Elton Brand, who scored 30 that night. I think Sam Cassell's song was "Mr. Big Stuff."

The dude's name is Richard Tran. He was facing the opposite direction and it looked like he was going to shoot at the wrong hoop. Then he flung it Rick Barry-style, over his head, backwards. When he got all net, the whole arena erupted.

Later that game, Corey Maggette got injured after landing wrong on Chris Wilcox's foot. He would miss 50 games.
